25-26 Free & Reduced Meal Application

The 2025 - 2026 Free & Reduced Meal Application is now available. Just a friendly reminder that an application must be completed every new school year. It costs nothing to apply but if approved, your child will receive delicious and healthy breakfast and lunch meals for free.* Click the following link to be directed to the 25-26 application: https://www.lunchapplication.com/.

*The N.C. General Assembly has elected to cover the copay for reduced-price meals for the 25-26 school year.

Savor the Flavor: What's New on the Menu!

We’re excited to roll out new menu items across Mooresville Graded School District this school year. These additions offer more variety while keeping student favorites front and center.

New entrées include Stuffed Crust Pizza, Chicken Alfredo, and Roasted Drumstick and Thigh. Side options now feature both Sweet Potato Fries and classic French Fries.

Lighter choices like the Chicken Salad Plate are now available, along with new grade-specific options: the MGSD Munchable for grades K–5 and the MGSD Charcuterie box for grades 6–12.

Middle and high school students can also look forward to the Gourmet Grilled Cheese and Bacon Cheeseburger—two hearty additions we know will be a hit.

Add Funds: Securely add money to your student's lunch account anytime, anywhere, using your computer or mobile device.

View Balances & Purchases: Keep track of your child's meal purchases and current account balances.

Low Balance Alerts: Set up automated notifications to receive an alert when your student's balance gets low, so you never miss a payment.

Set Up Autopay: Ensure your student's meal account is always funded by setting up automatic payments based on a schedule or balance.

What's New

  • New Cafeteria Furniture at Mooresville High School: We're thrilled to announce that Mooresville High School's cafeteria has received a major upgrade with brand-new, comfortable tables and booths! This investment, funded through School Nutrition, aims to create a more inviting and enjoyable dining experience for our high school students.

  • Summer Meals Program: Mooresville Graded School District, in partnership with the NC Department of Public Instruction and No Kid Hungry North Carolina, is offering FREE summer meals for children and teens 18 and younger. Meals must be consumed on-premises at Park View Elementary School Cafeteria, Monday through Thursday, from June 2nd to July 10th (closed June 19th and July 3rd). Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM and lunch from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM. No application is needed – just bring your child!

  • Focus on Local Sourcing: We're increasing our efforts to incorporate more locally sourced produce into our menus, supporting our community while providing fresher, healthier options for students. Look out for delicious seasonal fruits and vegetables!
