The wintry weather has officially overstayed its welcome, so we are manifesting a bit of sun and warmer temperatures!

Here is the plan for Friday, February 6:
🔹 The Schedule: Regular schedule, regular start time.
🔹 The Forecast: Partly sunny with a high of 48 degrees! 🔥
🔹 The Requirement: Students should bring their supplies, best attitude, and maybe leave the heavy coat at home (okay, they might still need a coat!)

We can't wait to see everyone back in the classrooms! Let’s finish the week strong and leave the shovels in the garage where they belong. Thank you for your support during this winter weather spell!

Good morning, MGSD families!

We did receive precipitation that is sticking on the roads.  With temperatures dipping below freezing for the next several hours, we have made the call to cancel school for today, Thursday, February 5, 2026.  There will be NO remote learning plan today. 

  • Safety First: There are several hazardous areas throughout the district. 

  • Extracurriculars: All before and after-school activities, sports practices, and MGSD community events are also canceled. 

  • BASP:  Our Before and After School program will be closed.
